Jim Furyk Wins 2010 Tour Championship

You would think that winning $1.35 million for finishing first would be a great pay day. Think again. Add another $10 million dollars to that as a very sweet bonus.
$11.35 million. That is how much pro golfer Jim Furyk took home today after winning the 2010 FedEx Tour Championship.
Furyk shot a final round 70 at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta Georgia to beat England's Luke Donald by one stroke. In winning the prestigious event Furyk said that "This was special. It is icing on the cake for a good year".
But it wasn't easy. Rains plagued the event all day. Furyk came to the 18th hole knocking his second shot into the greenside bunker. He would later save himself by hitting a superb sand wedge 2 feet stiff and sink the putt.
Furyk, an 18 year veteran on the PGA tour earned $46 million before coming into the FedEx Championship. Earlier in the year, he won the Transitions Championship and Verizon Heritage events.
