Can You Change An Ipod Battery?

I have an iPod and it needs a new battery. How do you change it and can you change it?

Yes you can change an iPod battery

If you send your iPod to Apple to get the battery replaced, it can cost from $59 to $79 to replace it and another $29.95 for shipping and handling. That is quite expensive.

Its best to do it yourself and save some money. It isn't hard to do, costs less and take 5 minutes of your time.

You can get an iPod battery replacement kit for less than $15. They come with the battery and special tools to open up the iPod.
