Bel Biv Devoe tried to make a comeback in 2002 but I guess people were turned off with the new image and style they were cutting. People were more interested in their smooth R&B style rather than listening to yet another form of hardcore rap.
It just wasn't identifiable to who they were given all their success in the 1980's. Remember they were part of the group New Edition known more for soul/R&B and one of the first to start the boy band image.
