How Can I Get To Sleep Faster?

I just cant seem to get to sleep at night. I need a sound night of rest as I work earlier in the mornings. Anyone have a way to get a good nights sleep?

Many Americans have trouble sleeping. Most only get 7 hours of sleep a day and it is getting worse. Often times its because of something you are worrying about at work or school.

Pscyhologically, you have to train your mind to divide sleep and awake time into two separate zones. When you wake up in the morning, go see the sun and take a brisk walk. When you are ready to go to bed, start dimming the lights and watch television or unwind listening to music.
Whatever you do, you have to get into a sleep/awake routine to calm yourself at night and invigorate yourself in the morning.

Ways To Get A Better Nights Sleep

  1. Drink herbal tea
  2. Drink warm milk
  3. Don't take naps, rest fully instead
  4. Don't drink alcohol
  5. Avoid smoking
  6. Excercise vigorously a few hours before bed time
  7. Take a warm shower 30 minutes before bedtime
  8. Listen to soothing music

If you can't sleep after these tips, then go see your doctor. Insomnia is a bad thing and usually a result of anxiety and stress in your life.

Drinking a glass of milk helps

its typical that if you cant get to sleep then you have something on your mind. You have to learn to keep things left for the next day. There's only 24 hours in a day so learn to relax.

You can try sleeping pills. Also, try not to eat an hour before you go to sleep too.
