I want to know if I can play my PS 2 games on my new PS 3 gaming console. I have these PS 2 games already:

- Yakuza 2
- Final Fantasy X
- Wall-E
- ESPN NHL 2K5

Yep the PS3 can use PS2 games
You can play PS2 games on the PS3 console. You need however the 80GB PS3 model as it software emulates. The 40GB I heard does not software emulate.
Make sure you have the current firmware for the 80GB PS3 and up models as earlier revisions were buggy and some PS2 games wouldn't even run.
