I bought a new laptop computer and can connect to the Internet with the Ethernet port at home. But how do I connect if I am mobile?

You can connect to the internet with your laptop
There are a few ways to connect to the internet with a laptop if you mobile user. You can buy a USB wireless card, USB Ethernet adaptor or PCMCIA network card. You connect to a wifi hotspot in public places and that can be free or you can be charged for its use.
Often times the wifi connection is open and doesn't need a username and password. If it does, just contact the wifi location and they will give it to you.
Some places like colleges and libraries have Ethernet ports available. Just get a USB ethernet card and a 6ft Ethernet cable. They too will require a username and password.
