Over the years, Myspace has become a site for music artists to show off their stuff to the growing social networking community. I have to admit in the millions of artists that put up a Myspace music profile to date, only a small percentage is even worth lending an ear to.
Come with me as I rate the top 10 musicians on Myspace's Top Unsigned Artist List and see who makes my cut and who definitely doesn't. We never hold anything back and are totally candid about our reviews.
As of 6:00AM PST, these are the rankings of Myspace's Top Unsigned Music Artist List.

Tila Tequila
Good God. How did she become so popular? Are people's ears, let alone heads screwed on straight? After istening to all tracks, I can say "Wow, that totally sucked!". Worthy of being in the number one spot? Hell no. There is no talent here. This is nothing short of a slap in the face to true, talented musicians and shows clearly why the music industry has a bad reputation.

NeverShoutNever
Christofer Drew, lead vocals has a interesting voice. All songs are almost totally pure vocals and he holds it well. Unique points score here but I really would like to hear more instrumentals and beat because it sounds like something from a bad movie I watched in the 90's - "Benny and Joon".
Verdict: 3.5 stars out of 5

Drake
"Brand New" clearly shows Drake has skills. But its skills in his vocal singing ability I like, not his rap ability. Although I don't care too much for rap (it takes a lot to impress me. I just didn't feel it.

ArcAngel
Though I didn't understand a thing that was said (Hispanic lyrics), I was quite surprised how good this sounded. The backtracks were quite good and melodramatic. The rapping was dead on - the guy can flow.
Verdict: 3.5 out of 5

LFMAO
A trippy vibe and funkadelic sound - I dig ya! This is the kind of stuff we need today, get up and dance kind of music that is full of good energy. The only thing though is its a quick feel good boost that leaves me crashing after drinking a few Red Bulls.
Verdict: 3.5 out of 5

MPC
One of the better remix rap groups I've heard to date. These guys can flo' fo' the dough. But c'mon, using other people's music and layering your stuff on top is pseudo original.
Verdict: 3.0 out of 5

Jordyn Taylor
After listening to the artists above, we were going to throw in the towel on this article until we heard Jordyn Taylor to put us back on track. Finally, someone who can sing! A definite signature track entitled "Strong" is the one that launched her Myspace music career and continues to her Myspace fan club craving for more.
Verdict: 4.5 out of 5.0

Mudvayne
Great guitar licks and a healthy, meaty lead vocal. Makes us wanna kick our cat in the ass for pissing on the carpet. But because animal rights activists read this website, I can't give this one a high score.
Verdict: 3.0 out of 5

Owl City
Owl City has the "it" factor. Listening to each track made me feel like I was being taken on a journey into the intricate world of layered electronica. This is brilliant engineering of musical structure filled with complicated melodies in Beethoven-like style. It tantalizes the mind, heart, and soul and puts a smile on our face.
Verdict: 5 out of 5

Ingrid Michaelson
Clean, crisp, pure vocals that are amazing. This is stuff that doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth. "The Way I Am" is such a well recognized song and perfect for Ingrid. Truly a rare bird that deserves the presence of a bright stage light to chirp loudly.
Verdict: 4.5 out of 5
To summarize, I am a bit puzzled why some artists are in top 10. I figure popularity, aggressive marketing, and a little bit of hype got some where they shouldn't be. But it is Myspace and in its own little world, anything goes. It continues to be a shame that the truly talented music artist that is out there doesn't get much opportunity to be put in the spotlight. KerryOnWorld will continue to search for those needle in the haystacks and introduce you to them here.

The music I like
Out of that list I like Jordyn Taylor (#1), Ingrid Michaelson (#2), and Owl City (#3). The rest I don't care too much for - just not to my taste.
