Hello World: Computer Programming For Kids
Hello World: Computer Programming For Kids And Other Beginners is a book by a Python junior programmer Carter Sande, and his father, Warren. This book is an easy book for those who are inexperienced with Python that I recommend.
The book's content is neatly organized and accessible. An example is How Do You Use A Function, and why is that like that. This book may seem short, but it goes into depth, such as using IDLE (The Python console) and PyGame, a little software package where you can develop games written in Python.
At the end of each chapter, you will be asked several questions to quiz yourself. This is convenient for those who are forgetful. Also, this book isn't boring and just fun to read. It doesn't just teach you what "print()" is and what it does,
Hello World! contains a sense of humor with examples and pictures. An example of such is on page 32, where Carter is being silly saying "I know of one more operator - a telephone operator", when you will be learning Python's Basic Math feature. I liked that.
If you still cannot understand what it's tying to say, you can always look at the disc for examples, or use the writers website.
In summary, "Hello World" is a very unique book of which I recommend.
