Woman Racks Up $200,000 Cell Phone Bill

Two hundred thousand dollars for a monthly cell phone bill? You got to be kidding! That's what Celina Aarons thought as she looked at her family's T-Mobile statement.

Miami's WSVN news reports that Aarons has two deaf and mute brothers. She put both of them on a $175 T-Mobile monthly plan. One of them goes on a two week vacation to Canada. That's where things get out of hand.

So imagine this. He's outside the country. She doesn't have an international calling plan. He likes sending text messages and watching movies. If you aren't aware, movies take up a tremendous amount of data bandwidth over the wire.

Turns out also that he left his roaming feature on too. Total damage?

A $201,000 dollar cell phone bill

T-Mobile later would write down the bill to $2500. Lucky you Ms. Aarons. Lucky you.
