Speaker of the House, John Boehner walked out on talks with President Obama today after saying that the two "couldn't make a connection" and see "different visions" for the country. This, adding yet more to the political drama in Washington over the potential default of the US government.

If our politicians fail to come to agreement on raising the $14.trillion debt limit (yes, trillion) by August 2nd, we could very well see a storm taking place in our financial markets. Interest rates could rise and the US dollar would suffer.
