December 13 2010 by Kerry Kobashi

Zynga
Move over Farmville, there's a new Ville in town and its called CityVille on Facebook. The game touted as a place where Monopoly meets Main Street has grown to over 20 million users in just two weeks, making it Zynga's most fastest growing game to date.

Zynga, the social network game company from San Francisco, California, has released a new online game that promises to let Facebook users build their dream city from the ground up. The goal of the game is to build your own mega city starting from a little town and increasing its size all the while making your citizens happy, running thriving businesses and farming agricultural crops.

It's a cool little game with rich 3D graphics right on par with what you would find in PC simulation games. It looks wonderful under full screen mode on large screen monitors. The artists did a wonderful job in detailing. Characters, landscapes, roads, railroad tracks and buildings are nicely drawn and rendered..

Here are some screen shots of what is in store:

Now you can make Facebook friends and play CityVille with other people around the world without any language translation issues. CityVille is playable in multi languages including English, Italian, German, Spanish and French making it even more sociable.

If you enjoy playing Electronic Arts' SimCity and are looking for a free online gaming alternative, CityVille will fill that void with a unique social spin.
