Grand Opening: Topless Coffee Shop In Maine

Last month planning officals in Vassalboro, Maine gave thumbs up to a new twist in selling coffee - naked. Anything to stimulate your own economy I guess.

On Monday, The Grand View Topless Coffee Shop opened it's shirts (literally) to customers. The little town in Kennebec County with a population of just over 4000 apparently was uncomfortable with the decision but the planning board approved their business application as a coffee shop, rather than a topless coffee shop.

In meeting minutes, the citizens in Vassalboro that did not like the idea attempted to press the issue, but were told that it would take up to 18 months to write and change the ordinance. Such is politics.

So what's next? Nude donuts served by the Chippendales? Sheesh.
