The Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 is a USB webcam that delivers High Definition video at 640x480 pixels. It comes with a built in noise cancelling microphone and attaches to any monitor.

I have a Lifecam VX-5000 and it works extremely well. I use it on MySpace Karaoke where the webcam can record my voice and image live. The sound quality is very good and its really easy to use.

I've also use it with Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger talking to friends all the way to London, UK. This saves me lots of money on long distance phone calls. Its nice to be able to see friends and family abroad.

I have the VX-5000 and love it. I use it to talk to my grandchildren on Yahoo! Messenger. It works great.

Shipping is at least $5 on this which makes it even cheaper at $19. I don't think you can even get a web camera from Microsoft at that price.
