I'll Wait For iPad 2

Today, Apple came out with their Black Friday specials available from the Apple Store. To my disappointment, it wasn't enticing enough to click the buy button. But I'd seen this before.
"Wrap it up this Friday"
So said the Apple email that landed in my box earlier this week. And all this for the anticipated Apple Black Friday event that has in the past dropped prices off their retail products to make it mildly entertaining to bite into. So this morning, a day after getting stuffed eating Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings, I rolled out of bed to see what the hype was about.
Now I been wanting one of these cool Apple iPads for a while now. So I was very interested to see just how much Apple would be willing to cut their price given that they are distributing the iPad to other major retailers across the country.

One click and the air was let out.
$41 off.
Yawn. And it wasn't just $41 for the low end iPad. It was $41 across the board all the way to the high end Apple iPad 64GB 3G+Wi-Fi model. You would think that they would have offered a deeper discount on a percentage basis, but nooo!. Instead, this was about the number 4 and 1 and that wasn't good enough for me..

So instead, I decided why bother. This is starting to look very familiar, like the way Apple led out their Apple I and Apple II computers back in the 80's.
I'll Wait Patiently For An Apple iPad 2 Instead
Rumours are circulating that the iPad 2 will come with a a few more goodies including a higher resolution 2048x1535 in-plane switching (IPS) retina display, a front facing video camera, second dock connector, a USB port, and possibly even higher 128GB memory model.. The problem is, those are the kind of features that can add to the price of the Apple iPad. All of a sudden the magical device becomes an expensive tablet pricing itself higher.
Yeah, I'll wait for Apple iPad 2. No use getting antsy buying what will be an older model.
