Eliminating Ghosting On Your LCD Monitor

Here's a tip for anyone who is experiencing ghosting problems on their LCD monitors. A while back I noticed on my LCD monitor horizontal ghost lines. I initially thought that my monitor would have to be thrown away as it being damaged. But after some trial and error, I solved the problem.

I initially tried to turn the monitor off for a while and then power it back on but that didn't work. I then tried taking the monitor cables out and plugging them back in but that wasn't successful either.

Eventually I solved the problem. It was a matter of the LCD monitor cables having too much interference with the other cables going into the computer. Apparently, they were giving feedback and distorting the signal. What I did was move the cables around so that they do not touch each other and tried to make them be as far as possible from each other before going into the computer.

By creating these gaps between the cables, I believed I reduced the signal interference that was causing the ghosting effect.
