How To Save Your Business

Economy got you down? Facing job cuts at your business and one of the decision makers? Its time to stop worrying about your own greedy self and be responsible for the welfare of others.

Look at the idiots that run the auto industry. They deserve to be where they are today. Japanese automakers ate their lunch and threw chopsticks at them. How stupid to build production lines around gas guzzling trucks and SUVs and not have any foresight to build fuel efficient cars. They fly into Washington on their corporate jets if not first class on commercial flights with tax payer money to appear before Congress. How dare they.

Look at John Thain, former CEO of Merrill Lynch who decorated his new office with $1 million of tax payer money. And just before the Bnk of America acquisition goes out and rewards his employees with $4 billion dollars in bonuses? Not only that but the guy wanted a $10 million dollar bonus to run his company into the ground. You got to be kidding.

Your business is going to sour if you dont take on this advice. Here it is:

"Save your workforce"

You spent a ton of money searching for the right people, educated and trained them to do their jobs, and now you want to let them go? Wrong! You need to shave the salaries and start off from the top of the food chain to salvage not only your business, but face.

Its called accountability and YOU are responsible for your own mismanagement in this downturn. Why should YOU get a 3-5% year over year raise for poor planning and not take a salary cut? To save your multi-million dollar house, your kids' Ivy league college educations and 4 luxury cars and yacht?

Don't trim the fat. Trim your own fat. Reduce the top 50% of salaries at your company for letting this happen. Reduce the number of days worked from 5 to 4 for those departments that don't need to be there.

If you let go of the janitor, you will be left cleaning up your own shit.
