Apple iPad

So Apple announced this Wednesday the release of "a magical and revolutionary device at an unbelieveable price". Without looking at the product, that tagline is so well constructed and marvelously created to pique interest among many.

What is it? Well if you haven't heard by now its called the iPad.

Jordyn Taylor's Female Intuition

January 16 2010 by Kerry

It gives me great pleasure to announce the debut song of a good friend - Jordyn Taylor's "Female Intuition".

What seemed like a long time in the making, Female Intuition is an undoubtedly promising debut for this 19 year old Los Angeles artist who claims the title "Official Princess of Myspace".

Pop music lovers and Jordy Jor fans will enjoy this upbeat rendition filled with scaling crescendos and breathy vocals. The opening frame reminds me of 80's freestyle Lil Suzy's "Take Me In Your Arms" which we all know turned into a smash hit. The flow of this song is effortless, unforced, and is a great teaser into Jordyn's talents as a budding superstar.

A few repetitive listens to this song and one could imagine this too appearing on a Hollywood soundtrack just like Taylor's "Accessory" that appeared on the 2009 movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic".

October 2009 Stock Market Analysis

October 20 2009 by Kerry

Love or hate it, the US stock market has dazzled us this year. With the S&P 500 up a whopping 64% since its March lows, can this rally go any higher?

From my view, it appears to be running out of gas. I say this because I feel there is a very good chance that we are hitting a top. I hate calling tops because they are so difficult to call but I've noticed some things that I don't like.

Well it was time and I finally decided to get a new computer. I didn't want to spend a lot as I just got a new Asus Netbook last month. I did need a new desktop computer badly as I hadn't bought a new one since 2002.

The End Of Myspace?

July 27 2009 by Kerry

On the Internet when it comes to social networking sites, fads come and go. We saw this in Friendster as that user group quickly switched over to Myspace. Let's face it, people get tired of the same old thing. When it comes to social networking sites, being everything to everyone just doesn't work.

Giving away something for free and trying to find another way to monetize your existence is a drunken sailors crap shoot. Searching for something that just isn't there is a terrible way to run a company. When sites like these mature, they quickly find that their strategy switches to a means of keeping visitors, rather than trying to offer value that would want to keep them there. The problem is, the value is in the eye of the beholder. And when you give away something free, people continue to expect it.

Below is a chart showing the comparison in reach between Myspace and Facebook. As one can see, Myspace is spiraling downhill to what will likely be its eventual death.
